"I find myself intrigued and consumed by that which is embodied in the term whakapapa. Concepts, kin connections, animate and inanimate, known and unknown are revealed through exploration. A multi-dimensional woven map that helps locate our conscious and physical self. My focus is on the next generation, good form, function, simplicity, fun, high craftsmanship, attention to the detail, and a pure love for exploring past, present and future through my art and projects which enable and strengthen, sense of community."
